Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Tuesday 20th October 2015

Good Morning and welcome to my inspiration post for this week. This week I chose to use the gorgeous Exotic Night and decided to make a non-Hallowe'en themed card for a change. 

This stamp is not strictly a Hallowe'en one, but the skulls and candles kind of lead to use it for that occasion. However, I thought I would have a go at making a non-Hallowe'en card with her. I have to admit that finding the right sentiment was hard so I went with a generic "just because" one.

Inspiration Post "Hallo Owlie" by Sylvia

Hello everybody!

about the little Mia "Hallo Owlie". 

Is'nt she cute with her owl friends? 

I colored her up with distress inks.

I decided to make a round-shaped card. 

It is a tiny card... maybe perfect for a Halloween gift. 

Little Mia loves animals, so I have some new friends around her...

the little bats and a black kitty.

I finally have all the Spectrum Noir markers and love the neon green/yellow one (perfect for spooky glowy Halloweeen effect)

Inspiration Post "Blue Pumpkin" by Sylvia

Hi peeps,

Today I want to share something spooky with you...

But how can it be spooky... with such a gorgeous image!

This is Ching-Chou Kuik's image called

"Blue Pumpkin" 

I colored this image with my distress inks.

I made a easelcard, so it would really pop out the scene.

The backgroundpapers are (again) made with distress inks and

a stencil that I have cutted out with my silhouette cameo.

The dies are cutted out from die cuts of Memorybox.

I have added some black stickles for the glimmer.

A little sticker with a witch made this card complete.

This month our challenge is to create something for Hallowe'en or something spooky. Ching-Chou has so many fabulous witch or spooky digis in the store that are all just perfect for this challenge.

For my card I chose to use the gorgeous October Night, an appropriate name too, don't you think?! I saw another card somewhere in blogworld where the witch's hat was orange and I really liked it, so thought I would try that this time.
