Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration and Challenge Blog - September 2019

Today sees the start of our new challenge but before that I have some extra special news to share.
When the October 2019 arrives it will be our 5th anniversary of the Blog Challenge and Facebook Challenge starting.

This is an AMAZING achievement.

This achievement is down to all you crafters that take part in the Blog Challenge or Facebook Challenge or both, to the wonderful Design Team members past and present that have helped to promote these challenges and Ching-Chou Kuik's images and finally to the stunning images that Ching-Chou Kuik makes for us to use.

To celebrate this wonderful achievement there will be extra prizes to win and there will be an image that Ching-Chou Kuik has agreed that everyone can have that takes part in the Blog Challenge or Facebook Challenge.

Please note:
  • it is only ONE image that is being given to all people that take part and this image cannot be picked by the winners
  • the free image will be sent to you at the end of the Blog Challenge and at the end of the Facebook Challenge.
Please make sure you pop along on 1 October 2019 to the Blog Challenge and the Facebook Challenge to see what special prizes are on offer.

A general piece of housekeeping:

There is just a slight change to the rules for entering this challenge from now onwards.

To be eligible for the Artist Choice Award you have always had to use an image from the Ching-Chou Kuik Etsy Store but from September 2019 you MUST do a link in your post to the image that you have actually used from the Ching-Chou KuikEtsy Store.

It is only a simple change but it will make a lot of difference to me.

Back to the business of the day.

It is the start of the month and therefore time for another challenge.

For the month of September 2019 the challenge is:

"FALL/FALL COLOURS"
eg brown, orange, red and green.
Our first card has been created by our September Guest Designer Kathy Myasperations.  She has used the image "Fall Squirrel".
This gorgeous card has been created By Wendy, Facebook Design Team Member using the image "Autumn Whisper"

Time now to show you now the cards/creations made by the Blog Design Team.

Using the image "Black Haired Lady
(this image comes in a set with a black-and-white image and a grayscale image).

Using the image "Spring"

Using the image "Little Magic"

Using the image "Sunflower Night"

The "rules" of the monthy challenge are very basic and can be found in the blog sidebar or in a page at the top of the blog.

It would be lovely if you could play along with the challenge this month.

*****************************************
You might or might not be aware but they have been some stunning additions to the Etsy Store recently and these include:
This image is called "Harmony".  In this set you will get two grayscale images - one lighter and one darker.

This image is called "Nocturnal Sparkle".  In this set you will get a black-and-white image and a grayscale image.

This image is called "Little Magic".

In this Halloween set of images you will get "Exotic October" and "Halloween Duo".

In this set you will get a black-and-white image and one partially coloured by Ching-Chou Kuik herself.

There is an amazing array of beautiful digital stamps in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store.

Why don't you pop on over and take a look?
There is also a Facebook Group where all new members are very welcome. The Facebook Group can be found HERE.  Here crafters will share their creations made with a Ching-Chou Kuik image.  On the Facebook Group there will also be the details of the monthly Facebook Challenge and details of any sales etc.
Ching-Chou Kuik is now a proud sponsor over at the Passionate Paper Creations and Friends Facebook Group.

Why not pop on over and take a look.
Over at Kit and Clowder you will find details of various on-line classes that you can buy and participate in.  Ching-Chou Kuik is one of the sponsors.

If you want to find out a bit more about colouring techniques pop on over to Kit and Clowder and have a look.
**************************************************************
To enter this challenge you need to use a rubber stamp or digital stamp (black-and-white/grayscale or partially pre-coloured).
Just coloured in images are NOT allowed.
NO fully digital cards are allowed.

Please remember when linking to this challenge you MUST link to your blog post and not just your actual blog.

As you have taken the time to create something to enter into the challenge the Design Team members like to leave you comments but this is made more difficult when they have to look through your blog to find the right card/creation to comment on.

Thank you for your understanding.

August 2019 - Winner's Post

Thank you to all those crafters that entered last month's challenge.

To enter this challenge you need to use a rubber stamp or digital stamp (black-and-white/grayscale or partially pre-coloured).
Just coloured in images are NOT allowed.
NO fully digital cards are allowed.
As mentioned anyone that entered that used an image from the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp Etsy Store would get a second entry into the draw.

The winner of 3 digital images from the Etsy Store is:
No 9 and that card was created by Mimi:
Congratulations Mimi.

Please pop on over to the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp Etsy Store and e-mail me with your choice of 3 images.  Make sure you take your Monthly Challenge Winner badge from the sidebar to add to your blog.

Please note: when selecting digital stamps for a prize, stamp sets do not count as one digital stamp. You may choose individual digital stamps from a stamp set but you must clarify carefully what image you would like.
Every month there is an "Artist's Choice Award".  The winner of this award will be picked by Ching-Chou Kuik herself.  To be in with a chance of winning this award you need to use one of Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps from her Etsy Store for your card/creation.  At the end of the month Ching-Chou Kuik will look at all those cards/creations using one of her digital stamps from the Etsy Store and pick one winner that will get the "Artist's Choice Award" and will also get to pick 5 digital stamps of their choice from the Etsy Store.

Ching-Chou Kuik certainly had a lot of beautiful cards/creations to choose from but the winner of the "Artist's Choice Award" for August 2019 is:
No 7 by Mel C.

Congratulations Mel.  Please pop on over to the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp Etsy Store and e-mail me with your choice of 5 images.

Unfortunately the role of being a Guest Designer does not seem to attract may people these days so sadly September will see the last Guest Designer for the Blog Challenge.

The name of the last Guest Designer is Geesje.

I will be in touch shortly with details of the challenge so you can pick your image from the Etsy Store to use.
