Vannessa's Inspiration Post - Saturday 8th July 2017

Good Morning! I just managed to squeeze this card in on time for the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge as I was totally convinced that July 1st was on Sunday, not on Saturday! Our challenge this month is to make a monochromatic project and I went for the traditional black and white and shades in between colour scheme.

I used the gorgeous After Midnight for my card and used lots of layers and scraps of patterned papers on a large 7.5" square card. I kept this one fairly flat and it is going to a lovely friend of mine through the post.

She has been coloured with Copics and you can find out more about her here in my blogpost.

Don't forget to check out all the other gorgeous design team posts this week and why not join in the fun with our challenge this month? There are some fabulous prizes to be won!

You can also join our Facebook group for more inspiration and we have a monthly Facebook Challenge as well.

inspiration by Linda Gentle as a Breeze

Hi everyone.  I just wanted to Thank Ching-Chou Kuik for having me as a Design Team member for so long.  I have decided to step down from the team for now.  I have so much going on right now and with summer here I am outside a lot and enjoy my time out there so have less time to do my crafting.  I will continue with one for the summer but making 5 cards a month and the blogging sure takes lots of time.  So thank you Ching-Chou I will miss you all but this is best for me.
Now on to my card.  This wonderful image is called Gentle as a Breeze and she can be found in the Esty Shop here .  She has so many wonderful images to choose from so take your time and browse for a while.  This months theme is Monochrome so I decided to do all browns and gold.  You can find all the information on this card on my blog here. And you can find the challenge blog here.  So come down and play along with us.  You have a whole month to do this.
This month a made a Z card which is different for me.  I do hope you like it.
I also would like to invite you to come down and play along with us on Facebook too.  We have lots of wonderful followers and lots of inspiration for you.  Come join in the fun.
So til next time Happy Crafting.

Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration and Challenge Blog - July 2017 - MONOCHROME

Thank you to all those crafters that entered last months' challenge.

Before I get onto the winners and the topic of the new challenge I want to tell you of some changes to the Blog Design Team.

Sadly this month is the last month for Linda being on the Blog Design Team.  She has been on the Design Team since December 2014 and has made some beautiful creations as a member of the Design Team.  Thank you for being a member of the Design Team.  Here's wishing you all the very best Linda for the future.

Due to Linda leaving I invited Nicola to join the Design Team and lucky for me she said "yes".

Welcome to the Blog Design Team Nicola.

We look forward to seeing what Nicola creates as a member of the Design Team.

Now it's time to tell you about the winners and the next challenge topic.
As mentioned anyone that entered that used an image from the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp Etsy Store would get a second entry into the draw.

The winner of 2 digital images from the Etsy Store is:
No 29 and that card has been created by Suze.  This is the card that Suze made:
Congratulations Suze.  Please pop on over to the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp Etsy Store and e-mail me with your choice of 2 images.  Make sure you take your Monthly Challenge Winner badge from the sidebar to add to your blog.
Every month there is an "Artist's Choice Award".  The winner of this award will be picked by Ching-Chou Kuik herself.  To be in with a chance of winning this award you need to use one of Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps from her Etsy Store for your card/creation.  At the end of the month Ching-Chou Kuik will look at all those cards/creations using one of her digital stamps from the Etsy Store and pick one winner that will get the "Artist's Choice Award" and will also get to pick 5 digital stamps of their choice from the Etsy Store.

Ching-Chou Kuik certainly had a lot of beautiful cards/creations to choose from but the winner of the "Artist's Choice Award" for June 2017 is card No 10 made by Nelida:
Congratulations Nelida.  Please pop on over to the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp Etsy Store and e-mail me with your choice of 5 images.  Make sure you take your Monthly Challenge Winner badge from the sidebar to add to your blog.

This month our newest Facebook Design Team member has played along with the challenge.

Wendy has created this gorgeous card using "Green Moth Maiden":

You might or might not be aware but they have been some stunning additions to the Etsy Store recently and these include:
This image is called "After Midnight".
This image is called "Lotus in June".

There is an amazing array of beautiful digital stamps in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store.

Why don't you pop on over and take a look?
There is also a Facebook Group where all new members are very welcome. The Facebook Group can be found HERE.

Sadly Bonnie, Ria and Amy have decided to leave the Facebook Design Team.  We thank them for all their beautiful creations they have made as part of the Design Team and wish them well for the future.

Ann-Marie has now taken over from Bonnie as the Facebook Design Team Leader.

We are delighted that Wendy has agreed to join the Facebook Design Team.  She has always tried to enter the Blog Challenge and the Facebook Challenge as often as she could.  We look forward to seeing what she creates as a member of the Facebook Design Team.

Over at the Facebook Group here crafters will share their creations made with a Ching-Chou Kuik image.  On the Facebook Group there will also be the details of the monthly Facebook Challenge and details of any sales etc.
Ching-Chou Kuik is now a proud sponsor over at the Passionate Paper Creations and Friends Facebook Group.

Why not pop on over and take a look.
Over at Kit and Clowder you will find details of various on-line classes that you can buy and participate in.  Ching-Chou Kuik is one of the sponsors.

If you want to find out a bit more about colouring techniques pop on over to Kit and Clowder and have a look.
**************************************************************
Don't forget if you would like to be a Guest Designer for a forthcoming challenge please remember to add "GDT" after you name in the InLinkz or add a comment in the comment box.

Please remember when linking to this challenge you MUST link to your blog post and not just your actual blog.

As you have taken the time to create something to enter into the challenge the Design Team members like to leave you comments but this is made more difficult when they have to look through your blog to find the right card/creation to comment on.

Thank you for your understanding.
