Nicola's Inspiration Post - Thursday 5th July

Hello Crafty Peeps,

Are you all ready for summer?  I can't believe the kids have finished school already!

This month our challenge theme is THANKYOU OR SYMPATHY and you can enter here

I've chosen sympathy with an image you might not usually associate with this theme - 'Two Ladybugs' from the set 'Butterfly & Ladybug'.  I wanted to use something different to normal and thought with just a hint of colour, this would work really well

Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration and Challenge Blog - July 2018

Thank you to all those crafters that entered last months' challenge.

To enter this challenge you need to use a rubber stamp or digital stamp (black-and-white/grayscale or partially pre-coloured).
Just coloured in images are NOT allowed.
NO fully digital cards are allowed.
As mentioned anyone that entered that used an image from the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp Etsy Store would get a second entry into the draw.

The winner of 2 digital images from the Etsy Store is:
No 7 and that card has been created by Lillian.  This is the card Lillian made:
Congratulations Lillian.

Please pop on over to the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp Etsy Store and e-mail me with your choice of 2 images.  Make sure you take your Monthly Challenge Winner badge from the sidebar to add to your blog.
Every month there is an "Artist's Choice Award".  The winner of this award will be picked by Ching-Chou Kuik herself.  To be in with a chance of winning this award you need to use one of Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps from her Etsy Store for your card/creation.  At the end of the month Ching-Chou Kuik will look at all those cards/creations using one of her digital stamps from the Etsy Store and pick one winner that will get the "Artist's Choice Award" and will also get to pick 5 digital stamps of their choice from the Etsy Store.

Ching-Chou Kuik certainly had a lot of beautiful cards/creations to choose from but the winner of the "Artist's Choice Award" for June 2018 is No 2:
and that card is by Mel C.  Congratulations Mel.

Please pop on over to the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp Etsy Store and e-mail me with your choice of 5 images.  Make sure you take your Monthly Challenge Winner badge from the sidebar to add to your blog.
*****************************************
Now is the time to reveal the name of the Guest Designer for August 2018.

As we've had a few months this year of no Guest Designer I have picked the two people that asked to be Guest Designers, Gale and AJ, to be our Guest Designers for August 2018.

I will be in touch with you both shortly with details of the challenge and to ask you to pick an image from the Etsy Store to use for your card/creation as a "thank you" for being the Guest Designer.
*****************************************
Today sees the start of another challenge.

For the month of July 2018 the challenge is:

"THANK YOU/SYMPATHY" .
Unfortunately no-one asked to be the Guest designer this month.

We are though lucky to have a beautiful card created by Wendy from the Facebook DT.  She has used the image "So Long Yesterday":
Time to show you now the cards/creations made by the Design Team.

Aurora
Using the image "Butterfly"

Bonnie
Using the image "Dark Lilies from Hello Natural Set"

Kym
Using the partially coloured version of "Love Message".

Lozzy
Using the image Hello Dragonfly "

Nicola
Using the image 'Two Ladybugs' from the 'Butterfly & Ladybug Set'

The "rules" of the monthy challenge are very basic and can be found in the blog sidebar or in a page at the top of the blog.

It would be lovely if you could play along with the challenge this month.
*****************************************
You might or might not be aware but they have been some stunning additions to the Etsy Store recently and these include:
This group of images is called "Mermaid Set".  In this set you will get 10 grayscale images.
This image is called "Sweet Bunny".  You will get a black-and-white image and a partially coloured image by Ching-Chou Kuik herself.
This grayscale image is called "Flutter Butterflies".

There is an amazing array of beautiful digital stamps in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store.

Why don't you pop on over and take a look?
There is also a Facebook Group where all new members are very welcome. The Facebook Group can be found HERE.  Here crafters will share their creations made with a Ching-Chou Kuik image.  On the Facebook Group there will also be the details of the monthly Facebook Challenge and details of any sales etc.
Ching-Chou Kuik is now a proud sponsor over at the Passionate Paper Creations and Friends Facebook Group.

Why not pop on over and take a look.
Over at Kit and Clowder you will find details of various on-line classes that you can buy and participate in.  Ching-Chou Kuik is one of the sponsors.

If you want to find out a bit more about colouring techniques pop on over to Kit and Clowder and have a look.
**************************************************************
To enter this challenge you need to use a rubber stamp or digital stamp (black-and-white/grayscale or partially pre-coloured).
Just coloured in images are NOT allowed.
NO fully digital cards are allowed.

Don't forget if you would like to be a Guest Designer for a forthcoming challenge please remember to add "GDT" after you name in the Linky Tools or add a comment in the comment box.

Please remember when linking to this challenge you MUST link to your blog post and not just your actual blog.

As you have taken the time to create something to enter into the challenge the Design Team members like to leave you comments but this is made more difficult when they have to look through your blog to find the right card/creation to comment on.

Thank you for your understanding.
