Kym's Inspiration Post - Wednesday 13 May 2020

  Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is:

 "EMBOSSING - WET OR DRY OR BOTH".

This week the Design Team were challenged to "add some sparkle" eg glitter, glitter glue, sequins, gems or glitter pens etc.

Here is my inspiration post with that theme. 

I decided to recycle a tin from a box of biscuits I got for Christmas from some colleagues at work as the lid had a beautiful pattern on it.

The Ching-Chou image I used was called "Autumn Sea" and I printed her out virtually the width of an A4 piece of card.  I then coloured my image in with Promarkers, added some Crafter's Companion clear sparkle pen to her tail (well everyone has to have a bit of sparkle don't they??) and fussy cut out.

The topic for this month is "BUTTERFLIES/INSECTS".

This week for the last inspiration post for 2018 we were challenged to "ANYTHING BUT A CARD" by Design Team Member Aurora.

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

  For my decorated photo frame that my son and his partner brought me back from Malta I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Autumn Sea" (this is available in a set called "Beautiful Tails Mermaids" and comes with Intense Red, Jewellery Keeper, Flowing Crimson and Sunset Jasmine".

 Hello! This is Kym here again.

The topic for this month is "CHRISTMAS".

This week the Design Team were challenged to the theme "anything goes".

This is my project inspired by this theme.

 My project this week is a mixed media project.  I decided to decorate an old coffee tin.  

I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Autumn Sea" (this comes in a set along with the images Intense red, Jewellery Keeper, Flowing Crimson and Sunset Jasmine) and I have coloured her in with my Promarkers and used my Pan Pastels (blue and yellow), Pan Pastel blender and Pan Pastel Coarse Medium for the background for some sparkle and shine.

This week the Design Team were challenged to "anything goes".

This is my project with this theme.

  I decided to do another journal page. 

 I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Autumn Sea" and it comes in a set of 4 other mermaids in the Etsy Store.
